Yes! It’s coming to Lebanon. We invite you attend this compact, instructional hands on Lean Workshop.  Many of you have different components of Lean Systems, this workshop offers a continuous approach to seek and learn and improve all processes at a management level.

What is a lean system?    Manufacturing requires three basic elements: man, machine, and material. Lean manufacturing is the technology or “know-how” to utilize these elements effectively, reducing waste and increasing productivity while improving quality.

The key tools that support lean transformation include: workplace organizations, workstation design (motion economy, ergonomics, and safety), visual control, standardized work, setup reduction, and source quality methods in a realistically scaled work cell.

This course is effective for users and non-users of Lean Implementations.  Our intentions are to familiarize Lebanon Industry’s with the University of Kentucky Lean Systems Program. We also hope to continue an ongoing relationship with the organization for future Lean Systems.

Funding for this workshop is provided through the Marion County Consortium by Lincoln Trail Workforce Investment Board –Incumbent Workers Training Program.
